Breast Reduction
Breast Reduction

Breast reduction surgery is a cosmetic procedure performed to reduce the size of large and sagging breasts. This operation is preferred not only for aesthetic reasons but also to address health concerns. Large breasts can cause back, neck, and shoulder pain, interfere with daily activities, and lead to a loss of self-confidence. Breast reduction eliminates these issues while providing a more proportionate and youthful breast appearance.
Procedure
Breast reduction surgery is usually performed under general anesthesia. Excess skin, fat tissue, and breast tissue are removed. The procedure typically involves different incision techniques such as T-shaped, Lollipop, or around the areola. The incisions are made beneath the breast, around the breast, or vertically, depending on the method used.

Recovery Process
The surgery takes about 2-4 hours, and patients generally begin to recover within a few days. The recovery period may take a few weeks, during which swelling, bruising, and mild pain may occur, but these symptoms will gradually subside. Scars will form after surgery, but with an experienced surgeon, the scars are hidden as much as possible and will fade over time.
