PRP
PRP

PRP, Platelet Rich Plasma, is a plasma fluid obtained from the body's own blood, containing a high level of platelets and growth factors. PRP treatment is performed by injecting this special plasma into specific areas of the patient's body. PRP is used in many aesthetic and medical fields such as skin renewal, hair loss treatment, wrinkle treatment, pain management and tissue healing.
Procedure
PRP application begins with a sample taken from the patient's blood. This blood is processed in a special centrifuge device and the platelet-rich plasma is separated. The resulting PRP liquid is injected into the area that needs to be treated with needles.
The application is usually done with local anesthesia and the procedure takes about 30-60 minutes. PRP creates positive effects such as tissue regeneration, elimination of wrinkles and increasing skin elasticity because it contains growth factors that naturally accelerate the body's healing processes.
Benefits of PRP
- Skin Rejuvenation and Rejuvenation: PRP reduces fine lines, wrinkles and signs of aging on the skin. It tightens, smoothes and provides a more youthful appearance to the skin by increasing collagen production.
- Hair Loss Treatment: PRP prevents hair loss and supports hair growth by stimulating hair follicles. It is especially effective against problems such as genetic hair loss and thinning hair.
- Skin Blemishes and Acne Scars: PRP helps reduce skin blemishes and acne scars. It allows skin tone to be evened out and a natural glow to be achieved.
- Tissue Healing: PRP accelerates tissue healing, reducing the appearance of scars and surgical scars.
- Natural and Safe: Since PRP is a treatment obtained from the body's own blood, the risk of allergic reactions or foreign substance reactions is minimal.

Recovery Process
There may be slight redness, swelling and bruising after PRP treatment, but these effects usually disappear within a few days. Normal daily activities can be resumed immediately after the procedure. The effects of PRP begin to become apparent within 2-3 weeks, but full results are usually seen within 1-3 months. In hair treatment applications, the effects can be fully seen after 3-6 months. It is generally recommended to repeat the treatment every 3-6 months.
