Buttock Aesthetics

Buttock lifting is an aesthetic surgical procedure performed to correct sagging, flattening, or volume loss in the buttock area. The goal of the surgery is to reshape the gluteal muscles and achieve a youthful, lifted appearance. Buttock lifting can be performed using methods such as fat injection, silicone implants, or the patient's own fat tissue.
Procedure
Buttock lift surgery typically lasts between 1.5 to 3 hours, depending on the type of procedure (silicone implant or fat injection) and the area being treated.
The procedure can vary based on the method used:
Buttock Lift with Silicone Implants: In this procedure, silicone implants are placed in the buttock area to create a fuller and firmer appearance. This is done through small incisions made below the gluteal muscles to place the implants.
Buttock Lift with Fat Injection (BBL - Brazilian Butt Lift): In this method, fat is taken from another part of the patient’s body (usually the abdomen, hips, or thighs) through liposuction, purified, and then injected into the buttocks. This results in a more natural and voluminous buttock.
Buttock Lift with Own Fat: Similar to the fat injection method, this technique uses the patient’s own fat to add volume to the buttocks. The fat is harvested through liposuction and then injected into the gluteal area.

Recovery Process
The recovery process for buttock lift surgery varies from person to person but typically begins within 1-2 weeks. In the first few days, mild pain, swelling, and bruising may occur. Wearing a corset or special bandage can accelerate recovery and help reduce swelling in the treated area. Swelling generally begins to decrease within 1-2 weeks. The final results are usually visible 3-6 months after the procedure. Additionally, especially with fat injection procedures, some of the injected fat may be absorbed by the body, resulting in a slight volume loss after surgery.
